Free agent center Ryan Hollins has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, ending his time in a Boston Celtics uniform (via Los Angeles Times).
Hollins signed a one-year deal with the Clippers, likely worth $1.065 million. Hollins' agent said his client is glad to be back in Los Angeles (Hollins went to UCLA in college). "Ryan is happy to be a Clipper. He's happy to be back in L.A. and he's looking forward to helping the Clippers."
The seven-footer spent time with the Cavaliers and Celtics last season and averaged 3.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game. Hollins played in 15 games for Boston, starting once. He also played 17 postseason games for the Celtics, averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 10 minutes.
Hollins will fill out the Clippers' depth at center which will now be four deep.
