Courtney Lee Trade: Celtics Swap JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore, Sean Williams, Draft Pick For Rockets' Lee

Courtney Lee has been acquired by the Boston Celtics in a sign-and-trade, according to Yahoo! Sports. The deal was originally reported as being Lee for second-year forward JaJuan Johnson, but as Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports, the Celtics will also send second-year guard E'Twuan Moore, former Boston College center Sean Williams and a second-round draft pick in the deal to Houston.

Lee addresses an area of need for the Celtics after veteran guard Ray Allen left Boston to join the Miami Heat. With the status of Celtics starting shooting guard Avery Bradley up in the air -- he may not be back until around December of this coming season due to shoulder surgeries -- the Celtics were down to two guards, the newly signed Jason Terry and Moore. With Moore's departure, the Celtics are back to two guards, meaning that either Lee or Terry will likely start for the first half of the season (maybe longer) until Bradley is healthy.
