The Boston Celtics anticipate re-signing free agent big man Chris Wilcox, A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE reported on Friday, and the 29-year-old Wilcox seems to believe it's a done deal.
#CelticsTalk: "I'm definitely excited to be back," Chris Wilcox, a soon-to-be #Celtics big man again, told CSNNE.com.

Wilcox averaged 5.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game with the Celtics last season, but his season was cut short in March when a routine examination revealed that he had a cardiac irregularity that required season-ending heart surgery.
Wilcox recently returned to the court, and is not expected to experience any long-term issues as a result of his repaired heart condition. It's not yet clear whether he will receive a veteran's minimum contract or sign with a deal that is more substantial.
