Brandon Bass came through with the highlight of the second half so far, coming up with a monster slam off a Paul Pierce miss. Bass is having himself a fine night, despite the fact that the Boston Celtics find themselves down 72-61 with 2:09 to play in the third quarter of Game 6 of the 2012 NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. He scored his 11th and 12 points of the night on this play:
Bass' 5-for-8 shooting has helped counteract Paul Pierce's ugly 3-for-14 start Thursday night. Dwyane Wade has been bailed out of his 2-for-10 performance by LeBron James' 39 (!) points, but at least he has been able to work on his special teams, or whatever you want to call this:
