The Boston Celtics take a 64-41 lead into halftime of Sunday night's Game 4 against the Atlanta Hawks. The Celtics are vying to take a 3-1 lead in the first-round Eastern Conference series of the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Paul Pierce has led the way with 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
Pierce put up his big numbers while missing roughly the last five minutes of the half. He his left knee collided with Joe Johnson as he was fighting through a screen. The Celtics forward fell into a heap on the ground and walked off the court gingerly into the locker room. He is reportedly probable to return, however.
As a team, Boston is shooting an astronomical 63.6 percent from the floor. The Hawks are led by Josh Smith's nine points, but at 2-for-7 shooting he isn't helping Atlanta's efficiency any. The Hawks have also committed 11 turnovers to five for the Celtics.
