Though, Atlanta Hawks forward Tracy McGrady was a impact player in a Game 3 loss at the TD Garden Friday, the Hawks Sunday will welcome back star forward Josh Smith, who says he will return for Game 4 after missing a start with a left-knee injury.
"I’m probably going to play regardless of how it feels because I know the importance of this game,’’ Smith said. "I know that we have something special on this team.’’
On Friday, Smith watched from the sidelines as he teammates lost for the second straight time to the Celtics, who earned a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven, 2012 NBA Playoff series with a 90-84 victory. At times, Smith's presence wasn't missed, as former All-Star McGrady turned back into his old self netting 10 points and collecting six rebounds -- mostly all coming in the fourth quarter.
However, McGrady's minutes in Game 4 maybe limited, as Smith will return to the lineup and McGrady is battling a mild ankle sprain, but is expected to play.
