Celtics Vs. Hawks, Game 3 Halftime Score: Atlanta Leads Boston 40-38

Joe Johnson as scored a game-high 12 points and Tracy McGrady came off the bench to net all of his 10 points in the second quarter, to help the Atlanta Hawks take a 40-38 halftime lead over the host Boston Celtics in Game 3 of a Eastern Conference quarterfinal contest.

Paul Pierce has netted a team-high 10 points for Boston, who may not need to deal with the hot-shooting McGrady as he rolled his ankle in the closing moments of the first half. Kevin Garnett has scored eight points and collected a game-high seven rebounds, while Ray Allen has come off the bench to add eight points.

Overall, the Celtics are shooting 40-percent to the floor, while the Hawks are netting just 33-percent. The difference is the rebounding, which favors the Hawks 31-27, and the 3-point shooting, which features Boston making just one of their 11 attempts (9.1-percent).

The Hawks Jason Collins will begin the second half with four personal fouls. He's the only player on the floor in foul trouble.
