NBA Playoffs 2012, Celtics Vs. 76ers: Boston Survives Ugly Series With Philadelphia

Behind Rajon Rando's triple double (18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) the Boston Celtics moved onto the Eastern Conference Finals as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 85-75 in a win-or-go-home Game 7. The victory closed out the series for the C's who now will face the Miami Heat with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line.

All-in-all, Boston survived an ugly series with the Sixers, who made advancing really tough for Boston. However, writes SB Nation's CelticsBlog, if ugly helps you move in the NBA Playoffs you take it.

I'll do my best to wrap up this series with this recap, but when I'm done I'd like to ask that you never make me talk about it ever again. To say this series was ugly would be an insult to the word ugly. But all that matters is the fact that the Celtics are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals again. Survive and advance, survive and advance.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals will be played Monday in Miami (8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN).
