The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers meet for a deciding Game 7 at the TD Garden Saturday night with a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in the balance. (Game Time: 8 p.m. ET, TV Schedule: ABC)
Boston had a chance to close out the series in Game 6, but Philadelphia held home court and forced the series back to Boston with an 82-75 victory.
The last time the two clubs met for a deciding game in a tie series came in 2002 during a best-of-five first round series. Paul Pierce finished with 46 points, six assists and four rebounds, hitting eight of his 10 three-point attempts to lead a 120-87 shellacking of Allen Iverson's Sixers.
The winner of Saturday's Game 7 will meet the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals beginning on Monday.
