Avery Bradley Injury Update: Shoulder Issue Could End Celtics Guard's Season

The Boston Celtics will likely be without guard Avery Bradley for Saturday night's Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Should the Celtics win that game, they may still find themselves without Bradley who could be done for the rest of the year, according to reports.

Bradley suffered his third shoulder injury of the playoffs in Game 4 against the Sixers. At the time, it looked as though his shoulder actually came out of its socket. The Boston Globe first reported after Wednesday night's loss that the Celtics may have lost him for the year.

The Celtics are not expected to have Avery Bradley for the rest of the season because of a left shoulder injury. A source close to Bradley told the Globe that its in the percentile is in the "high 90s" that Bradley will be shut down and will perhaps need surgery.

The news comes as a blow for the Celtics. However, Boston did manage to win Game 5 against the Sixers pretty decisively without Bradley. They will be looking for a repeat on Saturday.
