BOSTON - Avery Bradley will miss his first playoff game after playing in the Boston Celtics' first ten postseason contests, as both shoulders are bother the Celtics' second-year guard.
"He's out," said coach Doc Rivers, who called Bradley the Celtics' defensive captain.
Bradley has been dealing with a shoulder injury all season, but Rivers said for the first time that both of Bradley's shoulders have been problematic. Bradley's left shoulder injury has been the more prominent one, as it has popped out multiple times in the playoffs. Ray Allen will return to the starting lineup. Rivers said Bradley will be "day to day" going forward.
