76ers Vs. Celtics, 2012 NBA Playoffs: Kevin Garnett Most Important To Celtics

The Boston Celtics looked well on their way to taking a 3-1 series lead over the Sixers, essentially punching their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. Then, the Sixers completed a furious comeback in front of their home crowd, knotting the series at two, guaranteeing a game six in Philadelphia.

Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston says the Celtics go as Kevin Garnett goes, and his poor game four performance is the reason the Sixers were able to win, much like game two:

Garnett produced monster efforts in Boston's triumphs in Games 1 and 3, but Philadelphia evened the series at 2 games apiece with Friday's Game 4 rally in which the 76ers did exactly what they did best in Game 2: Keep Garnett quiet.

Game five is scheduled for Monday.
