2012 NBA Playoffs, 76ers Vs. Celtics: Doc Rivers Says Celtics Collapse Is His Fault

The Boston Celtics jumped out to an early double-digit lead against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night, with a golden opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead and essentially end the series against the Sixers. Instead, the Sixers went on to complete an impressive comeback in front of their home crowd, to the tie series, as it heads back to Boston for game five.

There's a lot of blame to go around for the Celtics collapse, but head coach, Doc Rivers, says it's on him:

"We did more than settle; we lost our composure," Rivers said. "We stopped running our stuff. Whenever that happens, I always think that's me. I think that there is something the coach can do to slow them down, to get them back in their sets, to get them back in their rhythm, and I couldn't do it. To me, I always think that's my fault."

Game five is scheduled for Monday.
