Celtics Vs. Sixers Halftime Score: Boston Leads Philadelphia, 46-31

The Boston Celtics lead the Philadelphia 76ers 46-31 at halftime, after opening the game with an 18-3 run and staying on top of Philadelphia all night. The Celtics are shooting 16 for 32 (.500), well above Philadelphia's 8 for 36 (.222). The Celtics also lead in fouls, though, collecting 14 to Philadelphia's eight.

After a first quarter score of 24-12 it looked like the 76ers might be able to get back into things at the start of the second, as they capitalized on a series of Boston mistakes and pulled within six at 24-18. Boston was able to settle in to things and by the end of the second quarter was consistently ahead by ten, and building back to tying their game-high lead of 15 points.

Leading the Celtics are Brandon Bass and Paul Pierce, whose combined efforts are almost equal to those of the 76ers. Bass has 12 points so far and Pierce has 13.
