Celtics Vs. Sixers, Game 2: Boston Leads 38-36 At Halftime

The Boston Celtics hold a slim lead over the Philadelphia 76ers at halftime of Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal on Monday night. Both teams are shooting under 40 percent from the floor for the game in what has become a typically defensive battle between the two teams.

Brandon Bass is the Celtics' leading scorer on the night with eight points, though that has come on just 3-for-12 shooting. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo have five, four and four points, respectively, though none of the three have put up nearly as many shots as Bass. Rondo already has eight assists.

Jrue Holiday is having a nice outing for the Sixers, with 13 points and three assists through two quarters. Spencer Hawes has six points, six rebounds and two blocked shots already. Louis Williams, Evan Turner and Andre Iguodala are a combined 4-for-17 shooting.
