Celtics Vs. Magic: Boston Leads 55-51 At Halftime

Each team missing much of its star power, the Boston Celtics hosted the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night on national television. Through two quarters of play, Boston leads a close one by a score of 55-51.

Boston had the lead for most of the first half. Orlando erased an 11-point deficit, and eventually tied it with under three minutes to play.

Avery Bradley has hit eight of 10 shots from the field, leading the Celtics with 17 points. Paul Pierce has 13 points and 11 assits, and Kevin Garnett has 10 points and a team-best five rebounds. As a team, Boston his shooting better than 62 percent from the floor.

Glen Davis, back in action for the first time in week due to a knee injury, leads Orlando with 16 points and four rebounds. Jameer Nelson has 13 points and five assists. Orlando is 50 percent from the field.
