The Boston Celtics sat Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce for the team's third game in three nights Sunday. Rajon Rondo played, however, picking up 20 points, 16 assists and six rebounds in a 94-82 win over the lowly Charlotte Bobcats.
The Celtics held the lead the rest of the game after going up 17-15 on a Brandon Bass jumper with 4:31 to go in the first quarter. Bass finished with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the floor, adding eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Avery Bradley also had 22 points. It was his second time scoring 20-plus this season.
