The Boston Celtics begin their lone back-to-back-to-back set of games this season on Friday night when they visit the Toronto Raptors.
The Celtics, winners of their past four games, continue their road trip Saturday against the New Jersey Nets and Sunday against the Charlotte Bobcats. They will be without Ray Allen's services for at least the first two legs of the back-to-back-to-back, as Allen has been dealing with a sore ankle and did not travel with the team.
Boston outlasted the Atlanta Hawks 88-86 in overtime Wednesday at the TD Garden, a victory that prompted coach Doc Rivers to call this year's Celtics the most resilient team he's coached. Kevin Garnett had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Rajon Rondo notched a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 20 assists, and the Celtics held the Hawks to just two points in the extra session.
