Celtics Vs. Nets Score Update: Boston Trail, 35-34, At Halftime

BOSTON - MarShon Brooks, a former member of the Providence Friars, led all scorers with 15 points at halftime, but the Boston Celtics trail 35-34 against the New Jersey Nets into halftime on Wednesday night at TD Garden.

Paul Pierce led the team with 13 points for Boston, which shot 39.4 percent in the opening half. Kevin Garnett scored eight points and had seven rebounds and five players scored two points apiece for the Celtics. In the half, the C's bench scored six points. Brandon Bass finished the half with three points off the bench for Boston.

Shelden Williams, who used to play for the Celtics, had eight points and seven boards for New Jersey, which shot 38.5percent in the half. Jordan Farmar scored four points off the bench and four players scored two points each for the Nets.
