Ray Allen To Miss Thursday's Tilt In Orlando

Ray Allen is expected to miss Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic with a sprained ankle suffered during last Sunday's win over the Washington Wizards. Allen did not return to the game after leaving during the second quarter, and was forced to sit out Monday's home game against the Magic.

The Boston Celtics were without Rajon Rondo, Mickael Pietrus and Keyon Dooling on Monday along with Allen, making the team's 87-56 win all the more shocking. The Celtics will need to get healthier if they hope to keep winning games. Luckily, they should get Rondo back at the very least when they head to Orlando on Thursday.

Still, without Pietrus and Allen the Celtics will be without their two best shooters from beyond the 3-point line. Allen is averaging 14.9 points per game and is shooting 56 percent behind the arc. Pietrus is averaging 8.7 points and 44 percent on 3-pointers.
