Celtics Vs. Magic: Rondo, Allen, Dooling, Wilcox, Pietrus Out Monday

BOSTON - The Boston Celtics will be down a significant portion of players on Friday night against the Orlando Magic, with Rajon Rondo (wrist), Ray Allen (ankle), Keyon Dooling (knee), Chris Wilcox (calf), and Mickael Pietrus (shoulder) missing.

Avery Bradley and Sasha Pavlovic will fill the void in the Celtics' starting lineup Monday.

Of that group, Pietrus' name is surprising. Pietrus suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday afternoon's game against the Wizards. Allen was also injured during the game, jamming his left ankle in the second quarter. Dooling and Wilcox have been out for a while now.

Celtics head coach Doc Rivers said that Rondo and Dooling are the closest players to returning, saying that he would be surprised if both were not suited up for Thursday night's game against the Magic in Orlando. Rondo has missed the team's last two games after suffering from a right wrist injury in the team's game against the Toronto Raptors last week.
