The 2011 NBA Draft is in the books, and the Boston Celtics came away wit a pair of Purdue Boilermakers, JaJuah Johnson and E'Twaun Moore.
Johnson, a forward/center from Purdue, averaged 20.5 points and 8.6 rebounds last season for the Boilermakers. In addition, Johnson averaged 2.3 blocks per game and shot 49.4 percent from the field last year.
Boston originally drafted Marshon Brooks, the nation's second-leading scorer last season, at No. 25 overall, but they immediately traded him to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for the rights to Johnson, who the Nets drafted at No. 27 overall, and a second round pick in 2014.
Moore, who averaged 18 points and 3.2 assists last season with the Boilermakers, was the second player from Purdue acquired in the draft by the Celtics. Moore's best game last season came against Ohio State when he scored a season-high 38 points, making seven three-pointers in the process. Moore scored over 30 points in three games last year and totaled more than 20 on 11 occasions.
