Dirk Nowitzki was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2011 NBA Finals after he and his Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat in six games to win the 2011 NBA Championship.

Nowitzki, who scored 21 points and had 11 rebounds in Game 6, averaged 26 points and 9.6 rebounds in six games this series.
