The only thing better than a Boston Celtics win is a Los Angeles Lakers loss, especially when that loss results in the Lakers' season coming to an end.
Dallas completed a four-game sweep of the Lakers with a dominant 122-86 win in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon. The Mavericks shot a sizzling 60.3 percent from the field in the game, and both Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom were ejected.
What does all of this mean for Celtics fan? For starters, it means that the Lakers won't have the chance to win their 17th NBA title, which would tie the Celtics for the most championships in league history. For now, L.A. is stuck at 16.
Boston has a chance to build its title lead over the Lakers to two this season, that is, if they can win three more games against the Miami Heat in their best of seven series (Miami leads the series 2-1).
Yet even if the Celtics can not win a title this season, they'll still have one more title than their hated rivals from the left coast.
