Williams, a sophomore, averaged 16.9 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks for the Terrapins last season. As a freshman, Williams averaged 9.6 points and 8.6 rebounds while shooting 51.2 percent from the field.

In his two year career at Maryland, Williams totaled 873 points, 672 rebounds and 77 blocks. Here's a look at Ford's analysis on Williams over at ESPN.com.

As Ford points out, the Celtics are in need of some interior help after trading away Kendrick Perkins. If they opt not to draft a big man, their other options include re-signing free agent Nenad Krstic, hoping that Jermaine O'Neal and Shaquille O'Neal return to health next season or simply signing another big body on the open market.
