Rajon Rondo has been known to dazzle with his passing, so in some regards, it shouldn't have come as a surprise that he did it once again against the New York Knicks in Game 3 on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
Rondo finished with 20 assists, a Celtics playoff record, as well as 15 points and 11 rebounds to record his ninth career triple-double. Here's a look at one of Rondo's pretty passes to Paul Pierce (38 points) during Friday's game.
Impressive, huh? As long as Rondo continues to make plays like that, the Celtics should be in good shape in their run for Banner 18 this spring and summer.
Rondo and company will look to sweep the Knicks when they take to the court in Game 4. If Boston is able to sweep New York, it would be the first time the Celtics have swept an opponent out of the Playoffs since 1994 when they swept the Indiana Pacers in three games.
