NBA Playoffs Schedule: Celtics-Knicks Open Series Sunday Night On TNT

Clear you calendars for Sunday night at 7 p.m. ET, because that's when the Boston Celtics begin their quest for banner No. 18. Little by little, the 2011 NBA Playoffs schedule is starting to leak out, and Game 1 of the quarterfinal matchup between the Knicks and Celtics is set for April 17, at the TD Garden, and it will be aired nationally on TNT.

The two longtime rivals will offers fans a bit of a sneak preview Wednesday night, when New York travels to Boston for the regular season finale. But with the playoff pairings already decided in the Eastern Conference, and coaches likely more motivated to avoid injuries than anything else, it won't be more a glorified summer league game.
