Corey Brewer Reportedly Agrees To Deal With Dallas Mavericks

Corey Brewer has reached an agreement with the Dallas Mavericks and will sign a multi-year contract with the team, this according to a report from Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski. The decision ends days of speculation following Brewer's buyout from the Knicks on Monday, shortly after he joined New York in the Carmelo Anthony deal.

The Spurs and Celtics were also rumored to be strongly interested in the defensive stopper, but as Marc Stein pointed out, Dallas had more money to offer with their full mid-level exception remaining.

Stein says that Brewer's new deal will be in the $2 million range.
