Celtics Vs. Warriors: Rajon Rondo, Boston Defeat Golden State, 115-93

Rajon Rondo celebrated his 25th birthday in style, racking up 19 points and 15 assists as the Boston Celtics cruised past the Golden State Warriors, 115-93, at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on Tuesday night.

The Celtics’ win snapped a six-game losing streak against the Warriors at Oracle Arena. Boston shot 55.6% from the floor and 41.2% from long distance.

Kevin Garnett finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds for Boston (41-14). Paul Pierce scored 23 points and Ray Allen added 18 points. Glen Davis had 12 points and Nate Robinson added seven points off the bench for the Celtics.

Boston finished with 52 rebounds (11 offensive), 35 assists, seven steals, four blocks and 16 turnovers.

Dorell Wright led the Warriors (26-30) with 19 points. Stephen Curry scored 18 points, David Lee totaled 17 points and Monta Ellis added 15 points for Golden State, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Golden State shot a dismal 39.3% from the field and 26.3% beyond the arc. The Warriors amassed 35 rebounds, 18 assists, 11 steals, eight blocks and had 11 turnovers.

Boston returns to the court on Thursday night when it faces the Denver Nuggets at 10:30 p.m. EST (TNT). Golden State hosts Atlanta in its next game on Friday night.
