Boston Celtics Training Camp 2011: Practice Underway In Waltham

WALTHAM - Practice is underway here at Healthpoint, the Boston Celtics' practice facility. The C's started their first training camp practice around 5 p.m. EDT and could practice for as long as three hours.

While not much has gone on here at Healthpoint during the day, the Celtics have been a very busy bunch over the last few days. Boston has added three new players to its roster while shipping one away. C's general manager Danny Ainge signed Marquis Daniels to a one-year deal and traded a second-round pick for Keyon Dooling.

On Friday, Ainge made waves by trading for Orlando Magic forward Brandon Bass in exchange for Glen Davis in a sign-and-trade transaction. Davis was an unrestricted free agent who had played in Boston for his entire four year career while Bass had played with three teams - the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks and Magic - in his career.

More to come from the Celtics' first practice as the night progresses.
