Boston Celtics Training Camp 2011: C's Camp Begins On Friday

At long last, the NBA Lockout is over and we can finally get back to basketball, as training camps across the league - including the Boston Celtics' - open on Friday. Boston will hold its camp at HealthPoint in Waltham, MA.

The schedule for Celtics' training camp has not been officially released by the team. The NBA ratified its new CBA on Thursday night, which officially brought an end to the seemingly never ending lockout to a halt and re-opening the league for business. As of 2 p.m. EDT on Friday, teams will be able to sign free agents.

Boston opens the season with only six players under contract on the roster - Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Jermaine O'Neal and Avery Bradley - with two rookies - JaJuan Johnson and E'Tawun Moore - currently unsigned.

On Thursday, the Celtics reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with former C's reserve Marquis Daniels. In addition, the C's will reportedly trade a second round pick for Milwaukee Bucks point guard Keyon Dooling, bringing their unofficial roster to 10 players (counting Johnson and Moore).
