In addition to three others, undrafted rookie free agnet Gilbert Brown out of Pittsburgh has received an invite to the Boston Celtics training camp, which is currently schedule to begin on Friday in Waltham.
Brown had drawn a lot of interest from the Celtics after the 2011 NBA Draft and prior to the start of the NBA Lockout.
"I'm definitely encouraged that the Celtics were interested," Brown said back in June (via WEEI). "I was talking to them all day. They said it was the flip of a coin [between Moore and Brown] when it came time to make the pick."
Brown played in five seasons with the Pittsburgh Panthers. In his senior year in 2011, Brown averaged 11.3 points, 4.4 rebonds and 2.7 assists while shooting 45.8 percent from the field. In the 2009-10 season, Brown averaged 10.7 points and 2.3 points in 23.7 minutes per game.
