The complete NBA 2011-2012 schedule was released on Tuesday night, and the Boston Celtics will open up the season with a three-game road trip, starting with their season opener against the New York Knicks on Christmas Day in New York.
Boston then heads south to face the rival Miami Heat on December 27 before taking on the New Orleans Hornets on December 28. The Celtics then return home to host the Detroit Pistons on December 30 at TD Garden.
After that, the Celtics have a home-and-home series with the Washington Wizards on January 1 (in Washington D.C.) and January 2 in Boston. To view the rest of the schedule, visit the Celtics' official homepage.
Of the 66 games on the schedule, the Celtics will have 31 games televised nationally between ABC, ESPN, TNT and the NBA Network. The C's play on TNT a total of 10 times, on ESPN 10 times, on ABC four times and on NBA TV seven times.
Boston's ABC games include a February 12 matchup with the Chicago Bulls, a March 4 battle with the Knicks, a March 11 tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers and an April 1 game against the Miami Heat.
