With the NBA free agency period set to open on December 9, the Boston Celtics are looking to add new talent in pursuit of their 18th banner. Anthony Parker, formerly of the Cleveland Cavaliers, is reportedly one of the players drawing interest from the Celtics, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Parker, an eight-year NBA veteran, has averaged 9.3 points, 2.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game in 443 career contests. Parker has played his last two seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 595 points and totaling 157 or mre assists in both seasons. Last season, Parker averaged 8.3 points, three rebounds and three assists in 72 games.
In the 2007-08 season with the Toronto Raptors, Parker averaged a career-high 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists while starting all 82 games for the team.
