Ray Allen and the struggling Boston Celtics look to right the ship when they take on the rebuilding New Orleans Hornets in their third game of the season at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday night at New Orleans Arena (TV/Radio: CSNNE/WEEI).

Boston (0-2) is riding a two-game losing streak to open the season, having lost to the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat. In the Celtics' most recent loss, Ray Allen scored a game-high 28 points and made 6-of-8 three pointers but the C's fell to LeBron James (26 points) and the Heat, 115-107, on Tuesday night. Rajon Rondo had 22 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds and Keyon Dooling added 18 points off the bench for Boston, which shot 51.4 percent in the loss.

New Orleans (1-0) has only played one game this season, defeating the Phoenix Suns, 85-84, on Monday. The Hornets had six players reach double digit scoring and were led by Eric Gordon's 20-point performance. Carl Landry had 14 points and had seven rebounds and Trevor Ariza had 14 points and seven boards. Marco Belinelli, Chris Kaman and Greivis Vasquez all finished with 10 points apiece for New Orleans.

Boston and New Orleans met twice last season, with each team winning once. The Celtics lost 83-81 on December 31 despite a 20-point, 11 assist performance from ex-Hornet Chris Paul but won in the second meeting, 89-85, in March.
