With the NBA Lockout a thing of the past, the NBA is firming up its schedule. Five games have been schedule for Christmas Day, which will be the opening day of the 2011-12 season, including the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks squaring off at 12:00 p.m. EDT at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Boston and New York's season-opening clash will be broadcast on TNT. In addition, the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors will all be in action on Christmas Day.
After the Celtics and Knicks play, the Mavericks will host the Heat in a rematch of the 2011 NBA Finals, which the Mavs won in six game, at 2:30 p.m. on ABC. Dallas will raise its first ever championship banner before the game.
The Lakers will host the Bulls at 5:00 p.m. on ABC followed by Orlando at Oklahoma City at 8:00 p.m. (ESPN). The final game of the day will feature the Clippers at the Warriors at 10:30 p.m. (ESPN). So, to recap...
