NBA Trade Rumors: Rajon Rondo Could Be Moved To Open Up Boston Celtics' Offense

As the NBA regular season quickly approaches, the Boston Celtics are trying everything to mold its roster so it can contend for the 2012 NBA Championship. And, everything could mean trading one of its most prized pieces -- point guard Rajon Rondo.

According to a Chris Broussard blog post on ESPN.com:

"While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off Paul Pierce."

Jeff Clark of SB Nation's CelticsBlog says he'd only approve a deal if it involved New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul or Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. Both players are superstars and are being placed in the middle of multiple NBA trade rumors.
