Celtics' Rajon Rondo Attacked By Fan

We're all frustrated by Rajon Rondo's jump shot, but that doesn't mean you should attack the man. But that's what happened early Saturday morning as Rondo was reportedly attacked by a 31-year-old Haverhill man at a nightclub in Lowell, MA.

Rondo was appearing at a Brian's Ivy Hall at a paid appearance when Eric Valazero threw a punch at Rondo around 1:45 p.m. and was arrested at the scene. Nate Robinson, Josh Smith and Rudy Gay were all with Rondo and immediately wrestled the attacker to the ground, according to the nightclub's co-owner Kevin Hayhurst.

Why Rondo was attacked we do not know, but apparently, Rondo wasn't doing himself any favors by acting very "unpersonable" and "disrespectful towards patrons" according to Hayhurst (via WEEI).

Valazero will be arraigned today and has been slapped with a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
