The Boston Celtics may get Kevin Garnett back a little quicker than they thought initially.
According to a report on ESPN Boston, Celtics Head Coach Doc Rivers says he believes that injured forward Kevin Garnett could return to the starting lineup as early as Monday, when the Celtics travel on the road to face the Houston Rockets.
"He's shooting, doing everything," said Rivers. "I think he'll be back early next week."
Garnett, was diagnosed with a right calf strain after Boston's 104-92 loss to the Detroit Pistons on December 29th. Garnett left midway through the game and had to be helped off the court, and did not return.
