Wizards At Celtics: John Wall Not Expected To Play At Boston

Unfortunately, it looks like the first ever meeting between point guards Rajon Rondo and John Wall will have to wait.

Wall, the Wizards rookie PG, suffered a sprained foot on Saturday that kept him out of Tuesday night's game and it will seemingly do the same Wednesday night. On his Twitter account, in response to someone asking him if he was "good to go tonight," Wall responded with "Naw."

Wall was spotted in a walking boot on Sunday and was seen on crutches on Monday. If Wall can't go against the Celtics, then the Wizards will rely more on Gilbert Arenas

While Arenas continues to play his way back into game shape after nearly two years of inactivity, Celtics coach Doc Rivers knows Arenas is still one of the more potent scorers in the league.

"He hasn't played a lot of games, but he scored 30 against Chicago the other night, and it wasn't a hard 30," Rivers said. "He's fine. Gilbert can score, and you know that."
