According to CSNNE.com's A. Sherrod Blakely, a league source has confirmed the report that Delonte West and Von Wafer exchanged punches in a fight Friday afternoon following a three-on-three game.
The Celtics are still gathering all the facts in regards to the incident and will look at all options, including the possibility of waiving West, who apparently was the one who threw the first punch.
Blakely's source added that West and Wafer "have had beef for a while now."
According to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski, West has been upset with Wafer for some time, believing that it was Wafer who "published anonymous quote saying it was 'obvious' when West hadn't taken his medicine."
Now, for West, his future with the team remains in doubt. Both he and Wafer are signed to non-guaranteed contracts, meaning they both could be released at anytime.
