Bruins vs. Senators: B's Rest Up Players, Face Off In Ottawa

The Bruins hope to finish their final away game of the season off right before heading back home, but they will have to do it without some key players in the lineup.

Two games remain for the Bruins in the regular season, and they play their last away game tonight against the Senators in Ottawa at ScotiaBank Place.

But the Bruins aren't at full strength.

They left a couple of players at home to rest them up for the upcoming playoffs, including captain Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas, and recently injured Johnny Boychuk.

The remaining headed to Ottawa yesterday and are just hoping they can come back to Boston without anymore injuries plaguing their lineup.

The B's are already without goaltender Tuukka Rask and forward Nathan Horton--both who were skating yesterday at practice for an extended period of time.

While it's expected that Rask will be healthy for the playoffs, Horton still has a long way to go according to head coach Claude Julien. But, if nothing else, it does fans good to know that he was up and skating again.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on NESN and aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
