Bruins vs. Capitals Game Two Third Period Live Blog

Boston trails entering a period for the first time this postseason, but it warrants mentioning that the Bruins had the

third-best record in the league this season when trailing after two. It may not be much, but it's something.

5:11 - The Early third period has seen teams trading chances, but Boston continues to struggle to get bodies in front of Holtby to make life difficult for the rookie goaltender. With an offensive surge, Washington evened the SOG at 24, but a big hit on Alexander Semin by Johnny Boychuk has given the Bruins some momentum.

5:18 - Boston's momentum continued to grow as the Bruins started to get bodies in front of the net and make Holtby uncomfortable, but the Capitals tilted the ice after a TV timeout. With less than 10 minutes to go, it's still 1-0, Washington.
