Braden Holtby frustrated the Boston Bruins throughout regulation of Thursday night's Game 1 matchup against the Washington Capitals. He turned back all 29 shots faced, 17 of which came in a blistering second period that saw the Caps survive a 4-on-3. Chris Kelly made him look very mortal in overtime, however. The veteran center put the puck over Holtby's left shoulder from the top of the circle to give the Bruins a 1-0 win on the team's only shot in overtime.

The Bruins will sleep a lot easier tonight thanks to Kelly. The Capitals, meanwhile, will have the difficult task of determining whether to keep Holtby in net if Michal Neuvirth is ready to come back from a lower body injury.
