GIF: Alex Ovechkin Hit Hard By Dennis Seidenberg During 2nd Period

The Boston Bruins have bottled up Alex Ovechkin very effectively during Game 1 of their 2012 NHL Playoffs series against the Washington Capitals. Coming to the close of the second period, the Caps' have attempted just seven shots on goal, none of which have come from the Russian superstar. Dennis Seidenberg gave us a great example of what Ovi has had to deal with this game. He knocked himself and Ovechkin off balance with a shoulder check midway through the period.

The game remains tied 0-0 despite plenty of scoring opportunities for the Bruins. Braden Holtby remains unbeatable in net at the moment, though if Boston continues to outshoot Washington at their current 26-7 clip they are bound to finally put one between the pipes.
