Bruins Vs. Rangers: Boston Looks To Wrap Up Northeast Division With Win Over New York

The Bruins look to wrap up the Northeast Division when they face the Rangers on Sunday.

The Boston Bruins (46-28-4) will be in New York at Madison Square Garden to visit the first-place Rangers (50-21-7) on Sunday at 7 p.m.

The Rangers have taken five straight games from the Bruins and 9 of the last 11. The Bruins will try to avoid being swept in this season's series between the two clubs. On the line for New York, depending on other results today, is clinching first-place in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Bruins have clinched a playoff berth, but will be looking to wrap up the Northeast Division with a win over New York and some help from other teams.

Players to Watch:

Bruins captain Zdeno Chara rides a four-game point streak (1 goal, 6 assists) into New York. David Krejci is also on a hot streak with three consecutive games of at least two points. Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik are both on four-game point streaks for the Rangers. New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist has made at least 30 saves in the previous three meetings between the teams this season and has a 95.4 save percentage (one shutout) in those contests.
