Will Sidney Crosby Return Against The Bruins On Sunday?

After months off due to a concussion and its aftermath, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby might be making his comeback this weekend - just in time to play the Boston Bruins.

As tweeted by USA Today's Kevin Allen, Crosby told NBC Sports' Pierre McGuire Wednesday that he would like to return to game action in Sunday's home matinee against the Bruins.

Crosby last played in a December 5th game against Boston, a 3-1 Bruins win. The 24 year old has been out since then with concussion related symptoms, but was cleared Tuesday for contact. Prior to his play in November and early December, Crosby had been out ten months with the initial head injury.

Crosby's return will bolster the Pens offense, but they have been okay without him - they have now won seven straight games, including Wednesday night's 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
