Bruins Vs. Capitals Preview: TV/Radio Info, Time, Location

Event: Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins
Date/Time: Thursday, March 29th, 2012 - 7 p.m. EST.
Location: TD Garden (17,565) Boston, MA
Broadcast Info: Thursday's game between the Bruins and the Senators will be broadcast live on NESN. The game can also be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with Dave Goucher providing play-by-play, and Bob Beers providing analysis.

Last Time Out: The Bruins got a three-assist effort from captain Zdeno Chara as they ousted the Tampa Bay Lightning by a 5-2 margin for their first three-game winning streak in three months.

Meanwhile, Washington stumbled in a big game against Buffalo, allowing Ryan Miller his 14th win in the team's last 18 games, losing 5-1.

Storyline: Washington is 2-1 against Boston this year, having played well in each of the two teams' three encounters. But the Capitals, who are fighting to get into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference, need this one more than ever.

On the other side of the ice, Boston clinches a playoff berth with a point in any fashion tonight, but they'd rather have two, especially with games remaining against the Rangers, Penguins, Senators and hot Sabres.

Players To Watch: Rich Peverley notched an empty net goal at the end of Tuesday's win, and has looked strong since returning from a knee injury on Sunday. Joe Corvo also gets his first start in two weeks after Dennis Seidenberg was ruled out with a leg infection.

Prediction: Boston has just three games left at home this regular season, and wants to start building some momentum to carry over into the playoffs. They've been playing improved hockey lately, and there's little reason to believe that they can't keep that going tonight. Boston 4, Washington 2.
