Bruins Vs. Ducks Final Score: Turco Takes First Win With B's, 3-2

People were wondering when Marty Turco was going to provide something--anything for the Bruins this year, and that answer came Sunday when he earned a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

With that win, Boston finished its mini road trip 2-1-0, each game a tight and close one to the end--the kind of games they needed to win heading into the last couple weeks of the regular season.

Though Turco gets the nod here for providing a solid effort in between the pipes, looking at the third line of Brian Rolston, Benoit Pouliot and Chris Kelly, there was a lot to be excited about. Each of those three picked up two points, and Pouliot and Rolston each registered a goal in their efforts.

Scoring the third goal was the guy who got it all started--appropriately enough, captain Zdeno Chara.

Chara slapped one through to the back of the net in the second period, followed by Pouliot just 1:22 later in the same period.

Rolston chose to save his scoring chance for more than half way through the third, taking a nice Kelly feed and putting it past Jonas Hiller for his second goal with the Bruins this season.

He also currently holds a six-game point streak.

Meanwhile, Turco put up his best outing with the Bruins, stopping 25 of the 27 shots he faced, including a couple of great opportunities for the Ducks.

The Bruins head into the final stretch five points ahead of Ottawa in the division, with a game in hand, and with seven games left to go in the regular season. They head back to Boston for two games, including their next game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
