Bruins Vs. Lightning Score Update: Bolts Add Another To Take 5-0 Lead After Two

The second frame began much in the way the first did for a Bruins team that simply couldn’t find it’s skating legs on Tuesday. The phenom known as Steven Stamkos would tuck home his league leading 49th tally of the season just past the three minute mark of the frame to give the Bolts an astounding 5-0 lead.

This would pave the way for head coach Claude Julien to bring Marty Turco back into the game with the result no longer in doubt.

The B's would go on to out-shoot the Bolts by a whopping 15-3 margin during the middle frame, but could not find a way to solve Lightning' rookie netminder Dustin Tokarski.

After forty minutes of action, the B's lead the Bolts in shots by a combined 17-13 margin, but find themselves down by a 5-0 score. With the outcome all but determined, the Bruins are best suited to play it safe in the final period and attempt to avoid any more debilitating injuries.
